Spend a part of your summer honing your craft with Pratt Institute during our summer credit intensives in NYC. Below you’ll be able to decide which summer intensive is right for you based on your needs. No matter which course you choose, you’ll be surrounded by like-minded peers and mentors who offer constructive feedback for your art.

All experience levels are welcome to join Pratt’s summer credit intensives. Earn three college elective credits and fulfill your art requirement at an undergraduate or graduate level. Choose four-week courses such as:

  • Architecture 
  • Graphic Design
  • Interior Design 
  • Creative Coding for Digital Art

Earn continuing education credits during a two-week intensive. From biodesign and personal branding to lighting design and mixed media arts, students can hone their creativity and discover new artistic paths. Take two weeks to put yourself ahead of the competition and strengthen that portfolio.

Taking the two-week intensives up a notch, Pratt’s four-week summer intensives allow you to earn continuing education credits. Choose from four different options to level up your skill-set:

  • Graduate Architecture Immersion Studio
  • Exhibition Design
  • Visual Branding
  • Visual Merchandising Design

Collaborate, learn, and grow into the artist or designer you’re capable of in NYC or from home.

As a bonus, many of Pratt’s classes can transfer to other schools—just talk to your advisor first.
